I believe strongly in the future of neural networks in life sciences. My personal view is that this is the nearest future of innovative treatment and diagnosis of most of the diseases. The main benefit is excluding human mistakes, to avoid wrong diagnosis and treatment, that usually has a high cost for the patient, doctor and society in general.
The X-ray image recognition is extremely important and has a great potential. Since the X-ray scanning is the cheapest and most precise method to examine a huge number of patients, and detect the most dangerous and life threatening diseases – the chance to improve this project and make it even more accurate – is the breaking through possibility for the medicine.
